One of the latest weddings I photographed celebrated not just a wedding on the Saturday, but featured and Alice in Wonderland Themed Tea party on the Sunday - with everyone in fancy dress!
Middleton Lodge is a charming private country house in North Yorkshire. Set in 250 acres of private country parkland, it was built in 1780 by architect John Carr of York. For over 30 years this impressive Georgian mansion and has been home to the Allison family who have dedicated themselves to restoring the Estate to its former glory.

Over the last few years Middleton lodge has become one of the country’s most unique settings for weddings, corporate conferences, film shoots, photo shoots and for special celebrations such as wedding anniversaries.
Nestling in the midst of rolling Yorkshire countryside, Middleton Lodge and its 250 acre Georgian estate offers the perfect setting for a traditional country wedding party – with a slightly modern twist.
Middleton Lodge can hold Civil Ceremonies for up to 120 guests, Receptions in the house can seat up to 46 dinner guests and marquee wedding at Middleton Lodge between 65 and 180 dinner guests.
They have their own wedding license, vast grounds, ample parking, numerous spaces for eating and drinking, and 17 individually designed bedrooms.
