Bowes Museum is a fabulous location for a wedding ceremony and a for a wedding reception on the borders of Teesdale and County Durham and the Durham Dales in Barnard Castle.

There are some stunning rooms licensed for civil ceremonies including the Jubilee Room, the Music Room, perhaps the Ceramics Gallery and the Picture Gallery.

You can have 80 guests for the Music Room  and up to 100 for the Jubilee Room and 240 for the East Picture Gallery. A marquee is available also for larger wedding receptions and your wedding breakfast, or, choose another venue close-by, such as Headlam Hall after your civil ceremony

I will be in attendance at the Bowes Does Vintage Wedding Special on Sunday March 11th 2013 from 11am - 4pm to help and advise and chat about your wedding celebrations at Bowes Museum. See you there!
