Judges Country House Hotel was the perfect wedding venue for Angie and Michael.
I first met with Angie when I was taking photographs of a VERY pregnant young lady with twins, who is also to be one of my 2013 brides at The Crab and Lobster.
Angie popped around as she was her next door neighbour and was just about signed up before she left the house!
We me at a wedding fair as well and it was great to meet with Michael too at his apartment in Hartlepool.
They had know each other as friends for about 11 years before it bloomed into romance, so this was one wedding I really wanted to get grips with - such lovely, happy, contented people!
They're both busy professional people too, so trust and confidence in what I was going to do on their wedding day and and how I was going to approach it was very important. Once they knew that I pretty much made it up as I go along on the day, working with the happy couple across 10 hours or so, together with their closest family and friends - they were convinced!
When I arrived at their apartment, it was full to the brim with people .. hairdressers and make-up artists, sisters and daughters and mothers and .... well, you know the thing!
It was all totally relaxed, not a Bridezilla to be seen, everyone just smiling and laughing and enjoying the build up.
Angie is the happiest, smiliest person you would ever meet and she was soooo enjoying her wedding day - laugh a minute. The beautiful wedding dress to the champagne to the amazing flowers and the lovely people meant that this was to be a very special day for her and Michael.
I managed to get some lovely images with Angie's Mum and sister and daughter as well before I headed off to Judges country House Hotel near Yarm - for the second time in a month after Joanne and Alan's wedding there in June.
Michael was already dressed and checking in with his guests, many from his circle of solicitor and lawyer and medical friends - with a big smile on his face too - he couldn't wait to see Angie arrive and I promised him  she was looking amazing!
Angie and the party were travelling with Love Dub Cars - their VW Camper Vans in fact Jazz and Julio as they are named, and they looked as pretty as a picture when they all arrived - Michael was unaware of the transport and Angie had arranged that after the ceremony they would head off for a drive around while their guests drank champagne and enjoyed canapes.
As Angie was walked down the aisle by her eldest son, she became all emotional, which nearly set Michael off as well, but by the time she reached his side, all was well and smiles broke out all round.
A beautiful service by Lynn from Stockton on Tees Registrar department topped off the ceremony with cheers and clapping greeting the deliriously happy couple while Angie's grandchildren Seb and Max stole the show as they walked out!
Time for a few formal images before the happy couple headed off for a break, which meant that I could capture lots of happy, smiling people for the next hour or so before the guests were called in for a magnificent wedding breakfast (thank you folks .. ) and three fine speeches from thr two best men and Angie's son - as well as from the man of the moment, Michael of course!
Early evening we had a chance to catch up with some informal family images and capture some photographs of guests arriving for the evening entertainment provided by friends of the couple, which went down a storm!

Headlam Hall is certainly one of my favourite locations for a wedding, it's so laid back and really well manged that weddings go without a hitch.
This is one of my favourite weddings from recent years.
I met with Rhoanne and her bridesmaids in the main bridal suite just before she put on her magnificent dress and she was really calm and collected - though just itching to get into her dress!
Meanwhile Andrew was getting ready in his kilt with one of his groomsmen before meeting with the registrar. The sun was out, the weather was warm, the main wedding room was ready and looked so light and white and romantic for the ceremony.
Both Andrew and Rhoanne looked really calm and confident, and once the ceremony was over - with one or two tears from bridemaids and family, it was a slow walk through guests blowing soap bubbles over the couple and onto the terrace for champagne and canapes.
Everything was so relaxed and laid back, which was just how the couple wanted things to be, and hopefully, the way that I blend in and become part of the families for the day, was just right too.
We took a ten minute break for all the family photographs that needed to be captured on such a day of record, with no hassle or stress for anyone so smiles came easily on the beautiful lawn in front of the main house.
Reception was a whole lot of fun with spontaneous outbursts from all the tables with guests singing verses from different love songs, which meant that the bride and groom had to kiss each time - there's was lot of laughter, and especially at the speeches and the animated life story that Andrew's brothers put together.
That left us ten or fifteen minutes for Rhoanne and Andrew and I to stroll among the grounds, get some fresh air and take some nice natural photographs before we headed back inside for the wonderful first dance and a mad Ceilidh that was still going strong when I left after 10pm.
